Question Is it rude/inconsiderate/gross to blow your nose when...

Is it rude etc... to blow your nose in this situation:

Where I work there are about 8~9 people in a room for 12 hours together, people eat at their "desk" whenever they feel like it. Most bodily functions farting, belching, etc.. are considered rude and most people step outside of the room (room with no windows and not the greatest vents) to do this stuff so they don't stink up their own work space and others.

However it's going to be fall soon and I know all the colds/fall algeries are going to start up agian. Now personally anything related to snot etc... grosses me out and if I'm eating I'm Done as soon as I am reminded of this stuff. Ewww. However you can only do so much. And I guess I would rather hear someone blow their nose then sniffle for 12 hours.

What do you all think? (poll on the way)

Unless they're leaving their snot rags on your desk, I don't see a problem. My nose runs whenever I eat spicy food. If one of the guys I go out to lunch with asked me to leave the table while I was blowing my nose, I do believe I would kick him in the nuts.

Seriously though... my sister sounds like an Effin elephant when she blows her nose so if we were out at dinner she would get up and go to the restroom (of course some people would still probally hear her though the door) lol

I'd much rather someone blow their nose than listen to the sound of sucking the mucus back into their head so it doesn't drip out. People gotta do what they gotta do, if blowing their nose is required then by all means get it done.

Normally blowing your nose is better than repeatedly slurping the snot back up, but some people have gurgling trumpet nose blows. Icky.
