will SSR comps that fit an 03 fit on an 05 wrx?

Just curious before I commit. They are 225/40/18. If I get Eibach Prokits, will they fit no problem?

Yes, they both have the same bolt pattern.

shoot, i didnt even realize it typing it but will the 225/40/18 be a little on the thin side? Not only do I hate how thin sidewalls look, I drive into the city often and potholes are everywhere. I'm generally very careful but if it's thin then I'll probably throw on new tires when I get them. What's the highest sidewall tire I can throw onto these rims with an Eibach Prokit drop on the 05 rex?

Well if you up the Side wall you'll throw off your speedo, but you may be able to squeeze 45/18's under the fenders but that'll be cutting it close. If you stay with the 225/40/18 you'll fit ok. Its almost the same size as a 225/45/17 which I have with a 1.5" drop in front and 1" drop in back.

Just checked a 225/45/17 has an overall diamater of 25" while a 225/40/18 is 25.1" so it'll fit just fine. Any bigger and you might run into issues. Good Luck!

I thought only the 05 STI's had the bigger bolt pattern? The bolt pattern of the 05's looked the same as the 02-04's at my local dealer.

Only the 05 STi has the larger bolt pattern

sorry, i was curious if ssr comps in 18x8 that was previously on an 03 wrx with kuhmo 712's in 225/40/18 will fit on an 05 wrx with eibach prokits. I realize now that 225/40/18 is actually the perfect size to be as close as stock correct? Anyway, if they fit then I'm golden but if the ride isn't as good, then I might think about a softer tire. I don't know. Either way, 18's on NYC roads might not be the best idea but I'll think about this one. Thanks for the help.

yes they will fit a 2005 WRX but, not a 2005 STi

thanks for the confimation luke. One last question, do u guys sell the actual stickers that come with the wheels? I plan on painting them bronze but I really like how they looked with the SSR logo on the spoke. Thanks.
