Has anyone upgraded to a Stock 17" Subaru Wheel or aftermarket 17" on there BAJA Turbo?
If so what kind and off set?

I don't have 17" wheels yet but from what i've found...
Stock wheels are: 225/60R16 97H
Optional 17":225/55R17
Or 18" if you really want more:235/45R18 or 235/50R18
I have seen a Baja with BfGoodrich T/A kdws 400 18*7 5*100 45 offset rims

Try the 18' Kazeras. I got em at TireRack and they're great. They don't come in 17". It was very hard to find anything in 17" that looked good on a Baja.

I think all the 17 Prodrive and OZ wheels intended for the WRX will fit fine on the Baja.

Wow,
ROTA's got some great looking wheels!
I'm stuck between two wheels...
The Rota Downshift - 17 inch - Royal Black or the Rota Grid - 17 inch - Royal Gunmetal

My BAJA Turbo is the Monterey Silver Metallic / Brilliant Silver Metallic colors and I'm try'n to photo shop the wheels on it to see what looks better.
To me they both look good,

Are the new 17" Legacy GT wheels the same bolt pattern and offset?

Those Rota Downshifts look pretty nice.

Um, if you '05 turbo dudes are getting new wheels, and you have the 16" painted grey wheels -- then please hook me up! I really like the painted grey wheels, but the Sport doesn't get that option.

What are the wheels worth to you with new tires on them?

Road Toad - No the gray wheels, painted ... not aluminum color. I think its an '05 turbo option only.

I only need the wheels... I have brand new tires on my aluminum wheels now! heh.

Just put on a set of 17 x 7.5 rims - the offset was 48mm. An 8" wheel should be the same or slightly more.Tires are 225/55 -17, this size is the same as stock dia to keep speedo reading true but the tread appears wider than stock. Pics can be found here -

Kc2Buk -

No problems with rub at all - The only real change might be a slightly harsher ride. This could be from the change in tirebrands too.

Please specify the wheel size when you post pics! Sometimes I can't tell if they're 17 or 18-inchers.

Anyway, does anyone know if the STi wheels (17s) will go on as far as lug pattern and size? I'm thinking the gold would work well with my black paint.

Nevermind. Looks like the perfect fit:

Stock = 16x7.5 +53
STi = 17x7.5 +53

And with the proper lower ratio tire on the 17, it shouldn't even affect my speedo! I presume the lug pattern's the same!
