Default Tire had a nail, need advice for next track day

Hey guys. One of my tires had a nail in it which has since been repaired. Although I have lots of tread left, I'm thinking of getting a new set for an upcoming track day. However, that would be kinda expensive.

I am thinking of just buying a new tire. I've heard reports you shouldn't replace just one tire due to the added strain to the AWD. How much of the tire do you have to eat up before you have to replace all 4?

Thanks in advance.

As long as you're tire was properly repaired, you should be OK.

See this thread: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=364275

You could also buy a single tire, and get the tread shaved to match your other tires.

My tire was repaired at Discount Tire. They guy told me the only way they repair them is to remove them and plug them from the inside.

After reading that thread, I am thinking of using my plugged tire at the track.
