IF they are made for GC8 they are listed you have to click on the model year part of each product, perhaps we were not clear enough I apologize.

Question:
Do the Tanabe underbrace and Cusco V.II brace more or less accomplish the same thing??
IE, do they use the same mounting points?

thanks
mike

The brace is different from Cusco's V2 brace. Both connect to the same points on the subframe and hold both sides of the subframe steady (the most important part). The cusco then attaches to the front control arm mounting brackets where the Tanabe connects further back to the chassis of the car. I'm not sure how hard the cusco is to install, but the Tanabe takes about 5-10 minutes (and comes with 2 bolts and spacers to bolt up to the chassis, the threaded holes already exist too). The cool thing about the Tanabe brace is that it reduces flexing up and down or twisting of the nose/engine bay of the car and holds the subframe together. I noticed it for afew days after installing it since i drive over the same dip/gutter at an angle in the morning when going to work every day and noticed the car did feel stiffer, didn't seem to flex quite as much when hitting the dip.

I've got a pic of the brace:

Installed on my car (ignore the skidplate):

How long would it take for you to get a Tein RA suspension for a GC body car? The track car is going into the body shop in a week or so for some light body work, and as soon as that is done, the suspension is next on the list. I am thinking mid october. Later that month I plan on doing a track day or two, would the suspension be here in time?

Later,
Seth E.
