3/16 mod works for a while then the ECU learns around it

It's not even worth the $1.98. I had it on for all of about 15 miles. I kept thinking, this thing doesn't feel quite right. Went back to normal, was smiling again.

I've heard good things and bad things about the 3/16" mod. All it does is allow better flow of air for the turbo, just like the exhaust. Don't look for hp/tq increase though, mostly just faster spool up and more consistant boost to redline. Some people claim higher psi... U would need a reliable boost gage w/ before and after.. Don't forget that everyone will be different in there experience with mods it all depends. Best part is that little bad can happen with it and a few mods cai, header, exhaust(nothing ecu related) its cheap and you can switch it out like it wasn't even there in 5 min.

It has nothing to do with the flow to the turbo. It messes with the wastegate and the ECU learns around it.
