I'll probably be there. I think my brother is entering his car and bunch of my friends wanted to go. You can get tickets at the door. It's like $14 or so, I don't remember.

I've been there before, lots of nice cars, a few rx-7's that looked really nice, mostly honduhs... not really worth the trip from where I live. There will probably not be any scoobies.

i think that as many as possible of the bay area subarus should go down and represent for the underdogs... im tired of seeing all the same cars fixed up the same ways with the same rims... i love having my RS because for one thing it brings out individuality being that there arent half as many RS's on the road as there are Integs and accords and civics... my car has its blemishes (here-and-there dents from ruthless door openers)and its no show car but ill take out any souped non-turbo civic with my automatic tranny~! so yeah im definetly going to go down saturday after i finish work in the morny... hope to see you sube fools...

u can get rid of ur door dings and dents by calling DentPro! it will probably cost u $100+ to remove quarter sized dents. i had some dents removed but i got more now!!! ahh! ****!!! its so hard to keep ur car in mint condition these days, because there are just too many careless drivers who don't respect other's property when they open their car doors damnit!
sorry just want to vent..

Hello,

I always thinks it's funny how people lump all of one car together. So "all" civics are slow, etc. One of the guys out here in the bay area - I'll see his car next week I think - is now running around with a 5th gen civic powered by an S2k engine Based on the S2k getting mid-5s in 0-60, I'm guessing all but Shiv's scooby here in the bay area would get eaten alive by that civic at the stoplight drag. And he's a self-proclaimed rice-boy, with stickers, chrome, fat tip, etc. His car almost sounds as bad as Sev's , too. And of course, it's slammed to the ground and has huge rims. I saw it once, and as he drifted a corner so fast that even my craziness couldn't help me, I watched as he just dissappeared... A friend of a friend knows him, so I'm going to try to go look at his toy

Joel - who got smoked by a civic in a way no scooby could smoke him

Hmm... not that y'all are interested, but I started thinking about the rumor'd civic with S2k engine. I can't see it being done. The engine is a rear engine with tranny on the side, right? Move that to the front and it's too big to fit. Stick the engine to the civic tranny and the tranny will give you 5 speeds of reverse. I dunno.

Now I really want to see it. Hmm. I'm doubting the possibility. Damnit, I don't know enough about hondas

Lol,I know I remember seeing something in SCC that clearly stated that the layout of the engine in the S2K would not work in a Civic. Plus, how the heck is someone in a FF going to go 0-60 in 5s with a tire/suspension setup that is at least somewhat drivable? If someone could even build such a car to race against Shiv, I'd like to see it. You'd see a white scooby launch like a rocket (or transmission shoot out in thousands of bits...) and a huge puff of smoke (some of which Joel seems to be blowing up our tailpipes. ). Oh well, you know there are dudes out there wishing they could put that engine in their cars anyway. Lol.
