I have a question regarding the 2 diffrent 4pot kits

We Subaru STi 4 pot front brake upgrade $625.00 shipped
This includes subaru pads, pins, retaining clips, shims and anti rattle clips.

Subaru STi 4 pot front brake upgrade $625.00 shipped
This includes Carbotech pads, pins and anti rattle clips.

Why doesnt the bottom option include, retaining clips, shims? Im intrested in buying the 4pots with the carbotech pads. Would i have to buy the other stuff seperate? Or will i reuse the stock calipers shims, clips ect...

Because the factory pads come with the retaining pin and shim.
The carbotech pads are just pads. I have had people use little hair pins to keep the pads pins in place.
