Default 88 Gl Wagon

Hello all! I just bought a 88 gl wagon. It has around 100k miles and looks like it is in decent shape. The old owner had all of the records....Ive never seen a car that has had that much work done to it! Anyway, I was wondering where can I go to get some parts for this car? I guess its a EA82 engine? Not sure of the body style code. The 4x4 seems to work ok.....seems like it was binding a little, but then again I was drinving on pavement (I guess you are not supposed to do that...)

Where can I go for OEM parts for this car? Its most likly going to need an exhaust from manny back to tail pipe.....Where can I go to get this (or do I need to have this custom made). I know most of the exhaust can be universal, but Im sure the exhaut manny needs to be specific. Where do all of you guys go for parts on these old cars? Any help is greatly appreciaited, thanks!

Go custom on the exhaust. I have a full custom setup from the heads back (non turbo car). I have pipe going from the heads to the cat 2.0 ID, then 2.25 ID to the muffler (a flowmaster 40 series delta flow) and 2.5 ID pipe out as the tailpipe.

I paid like $425 for my system front to rear. You MAY be able to get new exhaust parts from your dealer, but they will probably charge you an arm and a leg. If you are gonna pay that much you might as well get some more go (and noise )

Thats what I thought. Thats not bad for a complete custom exhaust. I know some pipe benders around here that could do it. I wasnt sure if you had to buy the exhaust mani first, then go custom. I was under the car yesterday and found out the major leak it due to the resinator not fitting correctly. Little weld will fix that.....

Just got some Goodyear F31's (moon rover tread design) and they put the car up almost another inch.....good I love this car.

Check engine light is on......does this car have blinking light codes? If so, does anyone have what the codes would mean (and how to get them {in my honda I need to jumper a switch and then turn the key, then it blinks the codes})......

If you pull off the trim panel under the steering wheel you should find the ECU. There should be a little window on one of the sides. It will have an LED behind it that blinks, no wire jumping needed. Fast = 1, Slow = 10. Don't remember where to get what the codes are, but it might be in the haynes or chilton manuals.
