Default 95l convert

has anyone taken the complete engine and drivetrain out of a 92legacy turbo and put it into an impreza body? i read the faq and i didn't find very much. i know one is obd1 and the other is obd2, how would you recommend doing this, i dont really want to use the obd1 ecu and rewire the whole car, i was just wondering how feasable this would be, i know it's not plug and play, i just want to know if this is something i should try or if i should just fix the body on the legacy. thanks damon.

primitive racing's old yellow rally car was a 95 that they did a swap in but it was run by link and by no means a street car...I imagine it could be done but I would try fixing the legacy depending on how bad it is.
