21st century insurance (used to be 20th century, now found on web at 21stcenturyinsurance.com or something like that) is the best, but you have to be low risk. My non-RS just dropped down again. 25th b-day dropped me $700 per year, 100/300, full comprehensive, $50 deduct, and everythign else, too. That, and I have one at fault - and they respond to claims very very quickly.

I'm paying $2016.00 a year at State Farm (and thats with one accident against me....and NO not my new suby....a F!@#$%& lady ran her car along my Jeep's bumper. Did a LOT of damage to her car....only cost me $12.00 for a plastic endcap and higher insurance for my jeep) So as soon as I get my insurance back to normal it should be around $1200.00 a year. (the suby is my primary vehicle....selling the Jeep ;-)

Hope that helps...sorry for the run-on

Cool

Well...using good old Eastwood Insurance I was able to get full coverage (fire, theft, uninsured motorist, etc.) with a $1000.00 deductable for $1536/year. And I did have a ticket on my record. Sure it may not be the greatest company...but...oh hell, I JUST WANT MY CAR! 3 days to go......

I switched to AIG from 20th Century - under $1100/yr for full coverage (in "high-risk" S.F. ZIP code), $700 cheaper than 20th Century even with higher limits and lower deductibles.

I have AIG and pay $1200yr with a perfect record. I plan on switching to 21st Century for $700yr next month though.

Angry

Unfortunately, age has a lot to do with it. I pay $540 every 6 months with a $500 deductable. It covers everything, including roadside. I would be paying around $2200 if I didn't get a break for a clean driving record and driving for over 8 years. Your insurance will go down when you turn 25 and you got your license at 16.
