Default HEader Torque Specs

What are the torque spec for the bolts on the heads and the bolts between the header and the first cat. Thank you

MAKE SURE to use the correct units of torque. For most of us, that's ft-lb which is the last value. Don't use newton-meters or kilogram-meters by mistake.

I cant read the diagram very well. It looks to me that both are a T3 spec. But the T3 says (i think) 22.4 lb-ft. Is that what you get out of it too?

Yes 22.4 ft-lb +/- 3.6 for both the bolts on the heads and the bolts between the header and the first cat.

i torqued mine at exactly 30lbs. should i loosen them?

Question

Is torquing bolts really important? As long as it's tight nothing will go wrong right? What happens if it's too loose or too tight? Thanks.

Bump. I don't know if I should be worried or not. Took off and put back on: passenger & rear seats and rear right tire. I also put on: midpipe, muffler, rear sway bar... They aren't on as tight as it was stock.
