Question 99-01 2.5rs CA LEGAL upgrades...

What can you get for the 99-01 2.5rs engine that gives you more power with out causeing smog issues in california? thanks guys.

thanks guys. i was talkinng about passing smog, it would be a huge pain in the @$$ to upgrade ur engine then have to put it all back to stock when smog time comes around.

Its not a pain to say switch out an intake and the exhaust, but internals would be bad to do if you plan on passing smog. However, I passed just fine with a crank pulley, modified stock intake, and catback with my 95'. I did take off my borla headers before hand, and I did have it smoged at just a random smog stop type place. The good news is that nobody has AWD dynos, so you dont have to have the car on the dyno, they just do an idle test and OBD-II check.
