get the 99-01 rs exhaust and move the third hanger to the other side.

OR

just use two of the three hangers.

OR

do a search.

Do they make an Apex'i Gt Spec for 99-01 2.5rs's? Aren't the pipe shapes different from the 01 to the 05 platform?

I have a 04rs and i use a greddy evo exhaust. greddy adds an additional hanger behing the muffler so it fits both older and newer rs's. As far as an intake i just purchased a short ram from 98-01 model. The Apex'i Gt Spec does not have the hanger welded in the right spot so you would need to move. Or be like a friend of mine with a tunabe exhaust that the hanger was off and support with zip ties. Good luck.

the pipes and stuff will fit my car though right? i would just have to re-weld the hangers?

yes it was a direct bolt on. all the pipes fit. i thought i would have to use my welder but instead it just went right on. the only thing is if you get under the car behind the muffler there is one hanger not being used but that would happen with a older model just the other hanger wouldnt be used. greddy is the only exhaust company i have since heard of that makes the attaches the hangers for both applications.

Any self-respecting muffler shop could do that job without batting an eye.

As for parts, you're right in that many parts have not yet been advertised for the '05, but most (if not all) bolts ons from the '04 series will fit your car...they just haven't updated the MY listings yet

stromung also does the double hanger application

intakes...there are none as of yet you could buy the cobb one just released for the MAF application and see that it works

apexi isnt a much loved brand here since they mass produce those things and just arent that good in the long run

Well personally i would really love to get the APS 3.5 inch exhaust but its for turbo WRX/STi only so the only one close to the sound and looks of that one was the Gt Spec, unless you guys could show me another one that looks like that.

^^thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard

and where would you conenct that to? might i ask, cause it def wont bolt up to your cats

3" is if you want to make 0 power

i know you say this whole turbo thing but in the end you will find out its not worth it to turbo the motor you spend more than just swapping it out for a wrx motor

chill chill im just messing with ya

3" is wayyy to much youll lose all your low end

second a wrx midpipe is shorter than our rs's so it wont work and the length would have to be increased
