Default engine problems..need help

last week i installed my egt and oil pressure gauges and a lightweight crank pulley and now the car is running horrible. its real sluggish and jerky on full throttle. we pulled the CEL and it said i was running to lean.. what could of caused it?? i was thinking that my filter was dirty and wasnt getting enough air but i cleaned it really well last night and its still doing the same. any ideas????

check all vacuum hoses under the hood..You might have unplugged one by accident.

There is a thread that covers what to look for when you get a CEL P0171 I think, which is for system being too lean. Perform a search for it, and I think you should find the info you need there.

Search for the code number and see what others have done to fix it. Sounds like you have a dirty MAF sensor and it needs to be cleaned. Try that and see if it fixes it.

you bumped something, check for vacuum leaks, sounds like it's leaking somewhere. P0170 and P0171 are very hard to solve sometimes, I had that code on my Eclipse GST for 3 months about a year ago, turned out to be a crack in the turbine housing introducing air to the sensor...good luck

if it was in a vacuum hose would i still run the same psi...would it drop if there was a leak and my vacuum on my boost guage is the same also... yea im gonna clean my maf sensor tonight and see if thats it
