Default I was feeling a little artsy tonight (56gay no way)

These first pictures were apparently taken on "federal property" and we were ran off by the police after taking these couple pictures. He was cool about it, but he treated us like terrorists.

This is at the second place we went. I would have had more pictures, but I need to invest in a tripod because I don't have the steadiest of hands.

This is my first attempt at being "artsy" so let me know what you think.

I'm no photographer, but I would let some more light in.

Not sure if your camera has those capabilities, but getting brightening up the pic some would make a huge difference IMO.

Other than that, I really like them.

If I had a tripod it would have been so much better. It holds the shutter open way too long for me to hold it steady the whole time.

It is a Canon Powershot A40, nothing special, but it might help if I read the book on how to set it up for night shots. I am one of those people that still has the manual in it's shrink wrapped package 4 years after I buy something.

I took some more on the way back home, I'll see how they look and might post them as well.

nice.

tripods really are crucial for nightshots to look absolutely crisp.

Yea, that is why most of my pictures are from the ground, it was the easiest thing to set the camera on to keep it still. I was lucky and found a couple other higher things to set it on, but I definitely need a tripod, or a monopod at a minimum.

I am working on resizing and uploading the other pictures, they should be up shortly. They are a little better, but I still need to learn the camera.

Bronze 5Zigen FN01R-Cs in 18x7.5

It is a Seibon carbon fiber replica of the GReddy lip.

Here is one I messed with in one of my programs. I thought it looked pretty cool, what's your guys' opinion?

The shots are good, but work on the lighting more. You got some nice backdrops to work with.

I think I just figured out how to use the camera, so I will see if I can borrow a tripod tomorrow night and go snap some more.

Like someone already said try to find the night settings on your digi cam... it'll keep the shutter open for longer and you can get more light and detail of the pictures.

Yea, I think I figured it out. The manual was of no help, but after tinkering around with the settings on the camera I think I might give it another go tonight.

I like the early evening shots the most.

Btw, what was federal property? The gas plant in the background?

The VA Hospital that was behind me that I got lucky and did not take any pictures of. I don't think that I was actually on federal property, but I was taking photos of it.
