Default my new STi custom front lip, what do you think?

ok, not really custom. just cut off the bottom piece in the center since it's warping when installed. I like it without anyways!

nice. i have the same lip and it slightly warps in the middle section too. i had it painted flat black, looks more discrete. i also zip tied it to a support beam to put a little stress on it. looks better.

FWIW, the "original" lip everyone is refering to as an STi lip isn't under an STi part number as far as I've seen. I installed one on a friends car, it came straight from Japan in a Subaru box, no STi P/N or stickers on the box. It's just the OEM Subaru lip. It's just that vendors are refering to it as "STi" to sell them quicker, kinda like the "version 7" rear spoilers which turn out to be version 5 replicas adapted to fit GD trunks

well if you go to the subaru of japan sight, its a lip designed for the STi in the STi parts catalog, so it can be called an STi lip in a sense, but i just like to call it an oem jdm lip.

Actually, no it's not. It's certainly shown on some STis but it wasn't an STi specific part. Look on www.japanparts.com, they have it listed under regular Subaru aero parts. If you have a link, that would be helpful. Like I said, I've seen this piece come straight from shipping, it didn't have ANY STi markings on it or in the packaging or instructions.

http://accessory.subaru.co.jp/impreza/index.html this is the subaru parts catalog. the lip was designed for the STi. i never said it was an STi part. go re read my old post. and read it through. i said i like to call it a jdm lip. not an STi lip made by STi.
