Hello,
Anyone knows how to adjust the headlight of MY98-01 to aim it more downwards? So that the headlight will light up more on the road not on the car in front of me? I tried the screw on the corners of the headlight as shown in Scoobymods.com but seems like that screw is to adjust the left / right of the headlight. Not the up / down. So anyone knows? Thanks

if it's set up how i believe it is there should be two bolts on the top of the headlight holding it on. loosen those bolts and pull the top of it towards you. retighten the bolts. if it doesn't look right repeat until it does

Have you changed bulbs lately? It is possible to incorrectly seat a bulb in the lamp. If this where the case the high beam might be right on with the low beam being off (or vise versa). If both are off then the lamp needs adjusting. Just a possibility..

The left/right adjustment is the on inboard of the headlight, closer to the middle. It is acessed by removing metal cover.
The up/down adjustment is located on the outside of the headlight relative to the car, or behind the corner lense. Standing over the corner of the car, look down at the back where the corner lense and headlight meet, you will see a philips head bolt located in a (white?) plastic part. This controls the up/down. You need a long philips screwsriver to get to this. |
