Looks cool, but you may wish you got the stainless model by next winter.

![]() I had the same problem you did, I could NOT get the damn bolts off. I soaked them in liquid wrench overnight before I even tried to break them loose and that didn't help. I tried all the tricks in the book and even went and bought a big ass breaker bar.... which was too big and wouldn't fit under the car (yes, laugh away). Anyway the next day I decided to give it ONE MORE SHOT and low and behold..... the bolts broke pretty easy and I got them off. So.... my suggestion is to SOAK the bolts with liquid wrench using several applications over a two day period. Then, and only then, attempt to break them loose. And then after I got the stromung on I almost ruined it and part of my drivetrain because the damn stromung didn't fit properly (GT wagon vs Outback wagon.... guess there are some differences) and was rubbing. Anyway, got it all fixed and the exhaust is suspended with some wire instead of the rubber bushings. I love the sound. |

See any increase in performance? White Kight, from your pics it looks like youre heading in the general direction I am with mods. I have a Weapon R intake also and I'm shooting for the Strommung exhaust as well. What kind of strut brace is that? i was looking at some from JC Sports, theres seem to be hella cheap compared to most, and I was wondering how good they really are. Anyone have experience with these?
Anyway, car looks good Knight, even better soon with the exhaust |
