Sweet, now I don't have to worry about wearing out my disc heads with the tedious rewinding process.

I'd get one but the color does nothing for me. I'm looking for something in fuscia or perrywinkle.

If you relabelled it as a "dvd clarifier" you could sell it to 'audiophiles'.

Anybody else thinking of the "CD-R on a Dremel at 35,000RPM" video?

When I first began renting movies on DVD's from teh local rental place, they had stickers on boxes that read "Please be kind, rewind"

On a second note, I just bought a cool gizmo that plugs into the cig lighter in the car and turns all red stoplights to green as I approach them.

What a rip! I can do that telepathically just by staring at them long enough.

I remember some gadgets that audiophiles were suckered into buying under the premise of making thier CD's much more clear. One was a weighted piggyback disk that supposedly normalized the RPM's of the disk during playback. Kind of like wow and flutter reduction for CD's, only cd's are digitally timed during the D/A conversion so thats moot. Another was the "stray light beam absorption". There were plastic bands that snapped around the perimeter of the disc and even markers that were impregnated with some sort of light absorbing liquid that you would scribble somewhere on the cd in order to absorb any randomly reflected laser light from entering the optical pickup and distorting the signal. x2
