Default Lower an '05 Turbo, exhaust, HID?????

I am still waiting for my '05 Turbo 5-sp to arrive. Has anyone gone into the lowering of their car. I understand that Subaru raised all the new cars to retain the SUV classification, and all the cars look higher than prior models. I drive around a thousand miles a week and do not go off road, so lower is ok and the handling could only get better. COBB advised using springs from a WRX wagon but i would love to hear from some one who may have tried it. I am also looking into a turbo back exhaust with hi-flo cat, any suggestions? There are some postings in other threads where there is mention of HID conversions, any one try one on a Baja yet??

I hear cutting the springs work really effectivly to lower it. I seen a baja on cardomain that had cut springs to get it lowered

Default Thanks, but......

Thanks for the reply. I saw that car too, but have been advised not to go the cut spring route. The stock springs only have about 5 coils and if they are progressive cutting them could really unbalance the car. I have found some aftermarket ones at Xcceleration.com and will probably go that route. Thanks, though.

The WRX wagon springs will not work on your BAJA. You will need springs from a older Legacy (00-04)

Rallitek.com has some great stuff for the baja and they have a few different types of exaust parts....check them out.
