Default Ideal turbo/catback size for 2.2L?

Ok, I think I want to turbo my 98 L wagon. Would a 3" turbo back be best or overkill. Also, should the turbo be smaller than your averge 2.5 kit?
Thanks for any info,

Sean

for turbos you want minimal restriction in the exhaust and intake tract... going with a 3" downpipe allows your turbo to spool faster.
