Question Tuning with Delta Dash on an Ecutek Reflash

I did a search and found next to nothing on this topic. There are certain parameters that are tunable on the newer Ecutek Reflashes. I was wondering if some of you tuners out there might have some advice on what to change for optimizing power conservatively.

The car has a GMAC boost solenoid per TheMadScientist mod so I am already running 75% wastegate duty and .03 PSI additional boost on a Vishnu Reflash for a vf34, intectors, etc.

I have the PSI3 data monitor for checking out just about all of the ECU's reporting so I can readily check knock correction, EGT (at the uppipe).

Would love to hear some combinations that work for you.

Thanks,

Jeff

first off don't play with fueling if you don't have a wideband.
second, i dunno if messing with boost will throw off AF ratios. someone else can chime in on that.
third, if you haven't found this, this is a nice write up by Shiv from a while back. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=351886

A friend just sent me that. I guess I didn't try that search combination. Not planning on changing the fueling options. I have read the thread but looking for more input. I have not seen any signficant drop in knock correction yet. I've seen advance to 11-12 and then back to around 10 at higher revs.

Anyone else with advice?

Thanks,

Jeff

well first of all you can't "tune" with delta dash any way it only allows you to modify Vram setings

So when I am adjusting ignition advance, boost and wastegate duty cycle, that isn't tuning for performance?

Try the " Engine Management & Tuning" forum. You'll get what you need there.

I looked at their site and there was not that much info on tuning, per se. The forum there is pretty dead. In fact jblaine had one of the few posts I saw on there.

Thanks for the advice. Turns out this is posted in the wrong forum and there is some info on this topic in the engine tuning forum that I noobishly didn't know existed.

Thanks again,

Jeff
