Default Need some advice for which turbo to run...

Looking to upgrade my turbo soon...These are the performance mods right now:
Turbo XS catless up pipe, down pipe, race pipe, mid pipe, and Utec
Stromung muffler
XS Engineering cold air intake
Blitz bov

Things waiting for to be installed along with the turbo:
840cc moded injectors
225 walbro fuel pump

Need some advice on which turbo to run. I'm looking to get around 400+hp. Ive been leaning towards getting the garrett gt turbo just for the reliability and confidence I have in those companies. Any suggestions on what to do here?

400whp? If so, get the green and an intercooler. If not, get a VF22/18g and an intercooler.

Oh, and sell the BOV and intake.

Coated Borla header would also be good for that HP level.

Default header?

what would you need the header for???

anyone aware that ESX motorsports (we all know this car is one of the fastest REX's around with sub 9 second passes)... runs on stock headers with a very slight port....

and ya think are really necessary for 400 WHP...

yep, well i did too, i got gen-2 GTSpec headers a good while ago... and am happy with them... but i'm beginning to think they're not really necessary... some will tell you all they're gonna do is create more lag...

sorry to hijack.

400WHP probably means not only a Green turbo, and a rock solid tranny, but a stronger block too... you could do it on stock WRX 2.0 block, but i don't think you'll be getting in too many WOT passes before things go bang.

Alright so any suggestions besides the green and vf22 turbo wise?? also why would i need to sell the intake and bov?
Im trying to get a good amount of power without having to do major work to the engine like new block or new tranny...any suggestions on a good amount of power without having to change out parts like that?
Also I'm not looking for 400+whp... mid 300's is what im looking for whp wise.
Any other suggestions??

You might get 400whp with 2 VF34s.

1. Read this: Turbo FAQ to get some knowledge.
2. Research based on above knowledge.
3. Have a knowledeable discussion Vendor/your tuner and buy one.
