if you want that style spoiler than get the STi carbon fiber one. Do not put that aluminum crap on your car.

No, don't do it ... someone will swap you for you wingless no problem ... Is you STI new? Heard a rumor you could order them wingless for 05' .... Just curious, don't mean to hijack ...

1. Wrong forum.

2. That spoiler is about as bad as they get, barring the homemade ones you see from time to time. Then again, it's your car, do whatever you want. Just don't feel bad when other Scooby owners look the other way when you come around.

Haha, every Honda and Neon in my town has that wing. Something different please. I think if I saw that wing on an STi I would cry.

Strictly speaking, that wing would be for looks only - it's too short to be in the windflow when the car is at speed.

Cheers,

if there is an sti wagon over in japan does it have a more agressive looking spoiler on it than the wagons over here ?? anyone have any info? and also that spoiler sucks unless maybe it costs ten bucks or somethin then its fine, but then again not on a cf trunk lid...alright it just sucks

I wouldn't put on my trunk any after-market spoiler that is not functional. If this spoiler was tested in a wind tunnel with STi attached to it and proved that it generates some considerable downforce while producing lowest drag effect then why not - put it on! Well, the design of this spoiler is not exactly esthetically pleasing, but it is your car after all.

The OEM spoiler is nice and aggressive. Don't take it off and put the cheesy wing on your car.

Look, everyone is already laughing at you.

Put the S202 spoiler on if you must, or the regular WRX spoiler.

I wouldn't do it man, that aluminum wing is just bad. Go for the carbon japanese STi spoiler, like the one from that best motoring video with the evo vs. STi.

I personally want to get the SYMS top half of the spoiler with the carbon fiber element, the stock spoiler clouds the rearview too much and I like the carbon look.

aluminum wings were just a passing fad, just like white rims and altezza style taillights. how much downforce are you expecting to get with that thing? Get a spoiler because you like the way it looks, because itīs not gonna do much towards any function of your car. but hey, if you like it, rock on and get it.
