Default Subaru Owner Experience Survey

I just got this in the mail today. I purchased my car 01/03 and it's a Onwer Experience Survey. I chose to complete it online. I took the opportunity in the feedback box to explain the theft problem in NJ. I explained that:

in the last year an estimated 70+ cars have been stolen in NNJ.
the wrx security system is easily bypassed and needs to be addressed.
suggested (begged) that SOA include an immobilizer key with all turbo charged modles.
suggested (begged) that SOA look at the 02-04 security system and investigate a recall (voluntary or not) to address the issue.

I doubt anything will be done about the 02-04 cars but if we make enoug noise maybe the 05+ models will have more security.

if you guys get this in the mail, i ask you do the same, maybe we can rattle their cage a little.

Good idea Mike. I'm looking forward to getting this now so I can voice my opinion on Subaru "security"

The immobilizer available with the '05s can be upgraded into the '02-04s
BUT it'll have to be a DIYers....

I asked

Just finished up politely tearing up SOA. I put some good points in there, hey maybe they'll listen?

PS I'm glad my primary dealer is Liberty... I had a thing or two to say about them.
