what to do? need opinion

well ive got an 02 2.5 rs, with lite mods, (apexi n1 axel back, and a ganzflow c/a) when i bought this car i wasnt sure how long i was gonna keep it so i didnt want to get too serious, but, i fell in love

, so its time to get serious, what to do first, ive got 1000$ to put in it before winter, ive decided to tune the car with cobb parts, ive got there stage 1 tranny kit, short shifter and mount, so whats next,
1 stage one cai and exhaust,
2 equal length header & catback
3 cams
4 springs & struts
5 lightend fly wheel and clutch
6 cobb big brake kit "wrx rotors"

so 1-6 which one would you scooby heads do first, id really like some input, thanks rob

depends what you want. Power or handling? IMO you will get your moneys worth with # 4.

I'd start with a WRX sedan rear sway and an ALK. Then I'd do Subaru 4-pots and H6 rears. But that's probably about $1500. It will completely change the character of the car, however.

well its all going to get done eventually, its just im not sure the best place to start

i vote more power, so i would do #2, equal length header and cat back exhaust. i put a stromung catback on my 95 impreze L and really felt a difference in throttle response. with a catback and headers, you should feel some more power and get a nice sound out of it. after that i would do springs and struts for the look and ride. i have kyb gr2 struts and eibach pro kit springs and i love the feel and look of the car.

I would say #2 as well.

I am a bit biased toards handleing my self you will find that with a few mods to your handling you will find your car much more enjoyable to take aroudn the corners and thus increase your driving pleasure. While #2 will make it have a little more grunt and give you a bit bigger grin when you slam down on the gass. I would have to say get #2 and see if you can pick up a used WRX 20mm Rear sway bar as a stop gap till you can do all of your suspension. It apears to me that you have done some reasearch and will probly be pretty happy no matter wich one you choose. Good Luck and good driviing.

i'd say number 2 as well, but just add a midpipe, i don't see much of a reason to replace the apexi n1 unless you don't really care for its look, or sound

I wouldn't replace your CAI for the cobb. That would be a lot of money for a VERY little gain over the ganz.
