Default Turboback w/o Boost Gauge

Hey, I am contemplating putting on this turboback on my garage. It is an Invidia bellmouth downpipe and a HKS carbon ti catback. I also do not have a boost gauge. Is this a bad idea to install the turboback w/o a boost gauge or should I be fine? Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks

You don't need it just for a TB,but if you play with the boost with a MBC or EM you need one.

Only gauge that would be nice to have is EGT but that's only after you've installed a EBC/MBC or are running EM just to be able to monitor.

Gauges are only a tool to monitor what the engine is up to. The rule of thumb is if the engine's performance is beyond stock it's usually a good idea to keep an eye on EGTs. Oil temp, water temp and so on is an option but not necessary IMHO. I went with a Boost and EGT gauge when I went with the COBB Stage 2 flash.

my goodness... sweet TBE dude! I envy you
listen to the specialists I'd suggest the defi-link display... its like having multiple gauges in 1 display... gauges are EXPENSIVE

He's right about the expensive part. My Autometer Electric Cobolt EGT and Boost gauges were $220.00 each

Thanks so far for the info. I will run by the suby dealer and pick up some gaskets then throw on the TBE. I have a UTEC that should be on the way, but looks like I got scammed (ouch). I will look into the defi-link display. I looked into some gauges and they are way too expensive for me now (UTEC and TBE blew the budget).
