Any other folks going to the SCCA autocross on May 20? This will be my first Bay Area region autocross -- is there anything I should know of that might be different from the ones in San Diego?
Very crowded? Lots of post-IPO punks with exotics and no driving ability? Do they have fun runs? Any interest in a caravan from the Valley? I'm in Cupertino. Cheers, Joseph Luk '97 Impreza "2.2RS" - SPD Tuned I resent being called a newbie...

Hey Joe,
I will be there. It should be the same. I usually don't stay till the end, so I don't know about the fun runs. We usually get 120-170 cars representing all classes. Yes, there are few punks, but they are everywhere, so it's ok. |

i will be there. not too many punks like alex said, but they are everywhere. We take pride in the "quite, but carry huge beating stick" approach. Most everyone by the end of the day is asking about our cars, or leering at us.
Looking forward to meeting you. josh |

Joeseph! Long time no see! I should be there. 3Com park is bumpy, but fun. AS far as exotics, a burgundy 911 Twin Turbo and a bunch of Vipers are usually there, and a Ferrari F355 showed up once. The car to beat in ST is the Orange Integra GS-R (Type-R?) from Tech 3.
brucelee, 3Com park = the park formerly known as Candlestick. C-Ya! Adrian |

All you that aren't going to race... SAK UP!! Come on guys, we need to really force the Subaru thing.
Seriously, you all should race. Its only 35 bucks, it does no harm to your car, and it is FUN!!! I know you might be nervous to give it a try, I know I was. BUT, it is such a gas, and no one really cares how you do. Everyone was a rookie at some point. So are you guys in??? josh |

Since H-stock runs in the afternoon, it significantly increases the chance that I'll make a showing. Since H stock runs 5, works 7 and G stock runs 7 and works 5?, it looks like I'll get a good view of you RS'ers in action.
