Just wondering if anyone has used their subaru parts for service work, or if they only count towards the parts?

I'm wondering the same thing... I've been assuming the parts would be @ MSRP and that you have to have it dealer installed for it to have any warranty..?

subaru bucks can be used for dealer service, parts and towards the purchase of a new subaru car. the parts do not have to be priced at MSRP to use them. as long as the parts are sold through SOA, dealerships should accept them at whatever sale price they offer.

I've used them for service. In fact, doing so screwed up the workorder and ended up reducing the actual cost for service by $100 BEFORE the Subaru bucks.

Yeah I used some bucks for my 30k service and then used others to buy parts a dealer was selling on ebay. And of course I payed for the remaining balance with my Subaru card to get more bucks. Woots. Let me tell you, Subaru bucks + ebay prices = deal and a half.

Subaru Bucks are redemption certificates for $$$ to be used at Subaru dealers. You earn them through the Subaru/Chase credit card. You can also buy them in the for sale forum and they generally go for $80 cash for $100 Subaru Bucks.

There are a few people here that sell them for $70 on the $100 so you can get a great deal on them if you need some fast or cheap.
