Default drum to disc swap

i am looking to do a drum to disc swap and i was wondering if i could just take off the whole control arm off my 95 impreza and attach the one of a 2000 2.5 rs arm?

Yes that will work if I understand you right. The rear end of any '93 to '01 impreza will bolt right up. I just replaced the hubs at the end of the control arms with WRX ones, swaped out the brake lines for SS ones, got a set of parking brake lines out of a junk yard, got WRX calipers, rotors and pads and I was set to go. Not really a hard swap to do.
