Friend of mine is loaning me his 4.3L S-10 Sonoma so I can save some sheckels on rental rates. I think I can make the trip in slightly less than the 9 hours it took me last time in that gimpy Penske rental van. This one is most definitely NOT limited to 70MPH!!

Anyway, I'm estimating an arrival time of somewhere around 6-10PM or so, given that I haven't nailed down an exact departure time.

My cell # is 619-379-4198 if you want to contact me and arrange a mini meet of some sort. I'm debating whether or not to stay the night in the Bay Area, depending on how tired I am.

Milpitas/Fremont area... I'm not underway yet. I was hoping to be on the road already, but the truck is in the shop getting a brake job done. The owner had anticipated it being done already.
