Default Question about accessports

Im thinking about buying the accessport from south coast subaru. They have the 02 wrx ports but am not sure if it will be right for me. I have a full turboback system on my car and I plan to do more in the future. The other option is ECcutek tuning.

I bought an accessport from them a week ago. Good stuff (I have an 04).

Accessport is simple to use and can change between various maps in a flash. Check out cobbtuning.com to see the upgrade paths. If you are going down one of those paths, accessport might be a good option for you. Easy to use. Versatile and relatively inexpensive.

I'm sure others will chime in about Utech etc etc and I'll leave that to them. I don't know too much about those.

If you plan on getting the AP, order from them. I did last friday. Suppose to get it today and I can't wait. Smooth transaction and good service. No complaints. I only plan on using stage1 since I don't have an aftermarket dp yet. But once I do replace the dp and up I will be flashing to stage2. The AP is easy to use from what I have read and I have no plans or experience with tuning myself, so this seemed the way to go.

Depends on what your future mods are. If you go with the accesport, you have to follow Cobb's path of mods, at least until their tuner comes out and you can get custom maps done. If you plan following thier path, get the ap, it's worth it. If you don't, and don't want to wait for the tuner, get something else.

Same as he said, other than that the AP gives great improvements to what your used to. If you dont feel like spending an extra $300-$400 on a UTEC or other simialar products and the costs of dyno tuning ($160 hr here) and you want a safe ordelry way of modding then go with cobb. But if you want the absolute most out of your car then go with Turboxs and other simialiar brands that offer user tunable ecu's.
