Default The return of the torana, a competitor to the subaru?

The return of the torana, a competitor to the subaru?

A recent Holden concept was unveiled in the Sydney Motor show. The car sits on a modified kappa platform and was given a twin turbo (very very lightly tuned) 3.6 V6. It has been hailed by Bob Lutz as a BMW competitor, could it also be a Subaru competitor (since itís a small-medium sized car) if given a 4wd system (similar to Holdens other concept the SSX)?

Anyways heres some of the cars specs.

I love the interior. It's got a very futuristic feel. It'd be better if it was just all black though instead of black and white.

The instrumentation is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET.

I like the interior lighting, coloring and the gauges too.
For those old enough to remember this is stright off copy & paste from the control panels and interiors of the command ships from the TV show 'Space: 1999'.

I like it. I wouldn't buy it in that color, but I like the styling. The interior would look much better in gray or black. The instrument panel is pretty cool.

BTW, back in the day my dad bought a Chevy 'Monza' with an all white interior like that.
Bad idea. Really bad idea.

It looks fantabulous new.
Not so swell after a few 1000 miles though.

I like the look from what I can see but I would really need to see some exterior shots from other angles. I kind of like the concept for the interior, but not really the execution. And whats with throwing absurdly large wheels and brakes on all concept cars these days?

Nice outside, completely horrible inside. The whole car seems to be geared towards women too.

So far this has been the only forum that had a couple of members that like the interior . I know that its a concept, and the interior on the production certainly wouldnt have pink and white (thats good to know). But just looking at that picture, the interior color and lighting just looks horrible. It must be a southern thing .
