Default Are there any GOOD single port headers?

It seems the only one's out there are the Borla's and everyone I've heard that has them hates them or say there weren't any gains.

I wish there were others but it seems there are not. I am working on building my own but I have low expectations because of the single port problem. There is a guy on i-club who has a custom set he says work well though.

The Borla's I have are dual port, but I still wouldn't trade them for anything...I love them. They give my exhaust that extra little sound, and I definitely saw a performance difference.

I enjoy my single port borla's they sound nice, and they may not provide significant horsepower increase, they will provide smoother exhaust flow then the restrictive stock headers.

i like my borlas. it made my car sound kinda like a dirtbike, but it'll let your car reach red line faster.

hmmm I think I'm going to change out the catpipe first then... and maybe one day throw the borlas on there.

squeech: yeah the dual ports actually give lots of benefits compared to the single port which gives very little so ... yeah.

How many of you have retuned your carb and distributor after doing the borlas? (I feel like I'm talking v8's again...) Parts help, but tuning brings it together.

Revolutions Motorsports carries some. They came out with the design maybe a year or more ago, back when so many people had Borla troubles.

Borla might have a new design that's better now, I'm not sure. But check out Revolutions.
