It is actually pretty quiet on the exhaust side due to the use of the stock axle back. Now the turbo on the other hand...it screams during spoolup.

No, you will only lose about 5-7 bhp when using the stock axleback.

Very similar to Our car Kent, when that GT35 spools up, it sounds like a Jet, it's funny seeing the faces of the people in cars next to you... hehe..

didn't get to finish tuning on friday as we ran into more fuel pressure problems at 23psi, but 22psi she makes huge power, can't wait for the extra boost to come.

That was my idea

Mine is actually in my garage undergoing a very similar transformation. One quick question though... is the RS hood steel or aluminum like the WRX/STi?

Heya bud... I take it you got the IM for this thread? : P I'll track down the URL for the stealth white STi (thought I sent you that one).

Anyway, IIRC, the hood he used is anRS hood, ie steel, but weighs only 7 pounds more that STi (must be the monster scoop).

I hope you end up doing this to yours... looks fantastic!

I called my local dealer to ask about a trunklid and WRX spoiler....just to calibrate you....

$360 for a WRX trunklid (unpainted)
$321 for a WRX spoiler with integrated center brake light.

But I guess if you can afford the FMIC, you can probably afford the trunklid too.
