Post Hollister Off Roading!

Hi all!

Has anyone gone down there to off road their RS? There is an off road track. One for all levels, easy, hard and hardest.. I'd maybe take the easy one just to see if the ground is relatively smooth or not. Then, I can punch it a bit.. Or many be not!

Heres what the brochure says..

It seems like its a little northeast of Salinas. The green circle trails which seem to apply to us AWDers are described on the brochure as "wide trails, no steep hills". From this description alone, it seems like rally roads to me! I haven't been there myself so I don't really know. If I go there, I'll probably need some mudflaps..
If anybody wants to find out, the number is (831)637-3874.

Well lookee here!! It seems like "4wd clubs and motorcycle clubs" can periodically reserve the "upper ranch" (or portions of it?) for special events. Maybe they can let us do a controlled rally cross?
I don't exactly know..

I use to go there with my Ranger. Fun place for a 4x4. I don't know how the RS will hold up though. My truck took damage every time I went. It is a state owned/runed place and they will do some booking for groups. They also have camping.

Note: The park does not have a tow truck. If you get stuck, it is your problem. The park is use at your own risk.
