(Savings = 495.01 + we pay half shipping!!!!) 1. Bernie R. 2. We-Z Noogie 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. When ordering please refer to the reference number of 2002 to show our sales department that you are participating in this Group Buy. AVO Turboworld Kit Description: www.rallitek.com This is a high quality factory kit that surpasses all the home made kits available till now. AVO Turboworld has been designing turbo charger kits for over 30 years and the quality and attention to detail shows in this kit. The kit includes a Garrett water cooled ball bearing turbo, top mount bar and plate intercooler, sequential blow off valve, stainless steel up pipe, stainless steel downpipe with a high flow catalytic converter, pre-programmed engine management electronics, stainless braided oil lines, power air filter and intake pipe, hood scoop ducting, High quality hoses and instructions. The kit will work with your aftermarket headers and cat-back exhaust or the stock pieces. The kit has had extensive dyno tuning to ensure driveabilty in all conditions, including Hot and cold weather testing. On the dyno the kit produced 212 at the wheels at the recommend 6 PSI of boost. This puts it in the 265 HP range at the engine. About 100 horsepower over stock. This makes the car very fast and considerably faster than a WRX as it has more horsepower and is a lighter car. The Feb 2003 issue of Turbo magazine has a full review of the kit and they are very Impressed. If you have any questions, please email us at: sales@rallitek.com Also to let you know that this group buy is on other forums. We will be combining the forums buyers to get you the better discount so you only have to sign up in this forum. This group buy will end November 20th (if we're really close to getting 15+ though, I might be able to extend it for you ) If you would prefer to get your kit earlier and not wait till the group buy is over, let us know and we'll send one out and charge you for the price according to the bracket you purchased in. If we get more orders we will reimbers you for the difference. ![]() Sean Sexton RalliTEK CEO

Awesome kit.
Every single part and bolt you need to make your car on par w/ WRXs and even STis. I know Sean @ Rallitek ran his GC w/ AVO kit on stock clutch/tranny and ran 13.3's. Thats disgustingly fast. Bump for a great product and service. Rallitek is the best when it comes to help! |

What proportion of NA engines blow up with the AVO turbo kit at 6 PSI?
How does this failure rate compare to FAT ? Does the AVO kit include J&S, RRFPR, Injectors ?? Does the Intercooler avoid heat soak ? Last edited by G.Subramaniam; 10-18-2004 at 03:57 PM. Reason: error correction |

I can not speak for FAT, and I can only report back failures that have been reported to AVO/RalliTEK. There are 53 kits that have been sold since the kit came out here in USA. I am aware of only two failures. One customer was drag racing and had a piston crack, the other had a ring wear problem after running the Autobahn at over 120mph for over 2 hours. Either failure may or may not have been related to the turbo kit. Any increase in engine output can reveal metal imperfections if they exist. The local situation was due to flow charactristics of the Cobb cams that were installed. We are also not sure if the other customer in Germany had modded the kit or the engine. The kits are designed for stock internals, cams or other internal mods may require different tuning in the kit. The AVO kit does not include RRFPR or J&S or new injectors. THe AVO kit includes a stand alone LINK ecu to handle those duties. The injector duty ratio is such that the kit should not be fooled with unless you know what you are doing. Changing the boost cut settings in the ecu and raising the boost can be a dangerous idea. The Stage1 kit has been designed to operate in the 5-6 psi range. The intercooler is top mount, bar and plate, with a scoop adaptor to seal it to the hood scoop. With cast end tanks, it is heavy, and a real nice unit. There is no way to avoid heat soak in a TMIC though. If you are stuck in traffic for a long time and need to pull a 1/4 mile run, you may add a waterspray kit or FMIC. ![]() Sean Sexton www.RalliTEK.com |

The DOHC is a great choice for turbo. The compression ratio is lower (9.7 vs 10.2) than the SOHC Phase2. The phase1 engines had poorly designed 3 layer headgaskets that failed on a regular basis. If your headgaskets have been replaced with the updated 4 layer gasket, (Subaru pulled the 3 layer gaskets in mid '99) you should have no problems with adding a turbo. Sean Sexton www.RalliTEK.com |

We would also like to say that this kit includes everything that you need to get it to run and run properly. There is nothing 'extra' that you need to buy (i.e.: intercooler, electronics, etc.). So this kit is "complete" as far as making your 1.8, 2.2 and 2.5 NA a turbo Subaru. If you wanted to go beyond that (i.e.: front mount intercooler), then of course it'll be more. AVO has been doing turbo upgrades, research and development for over 30+years! So these guys are not going away anytime soon, like other kits that we've seen come and go.

What modifications if any would be needed to make this work on my 2000 Legacy GT? Other than me getting a hood scoop.
