Exclamation Hill Climb Update

Ok everyone, here is the skinny-

I may not be able to co-ordinate this one any longer. My company ran into a snag in funding and the doors are most likely closing on monday. We didn't find out 'till yesterday. Anyway, other than work, I have no internet access. Someone else is going to have to run with this one.

The attendees:

Sean Whitmore
Larry Ganz (ImprezaRS dot com)
Kevin (supersube)
Marc Palen
Brian Martin (bratmantlz)
me (Diz)
Ahmad (TARMAC)
Andy (megatron)
Jon Simmons (omahasubaru)
Dan from Omaha

The plan was to meet at the Garden of the Gods visitor's center around 7:30 PM friday, June 29th. After that, we would head to the Hungry Farmer for dinner. Hill climb plans were to be made at dinner.

I should be online the rest of the weekend, but there are no guarantees after monday. Cheers.

Default Slacker...

Dan (from omaha) Has backed out.

In his place will be John (from omaha) A future Subaru owner who will be picking everyone's brain. His plans are a dark silver, fender flared, turbo 2.5 RS.

Sounds nice doesn't guys! I'm pretty sure he'll do it too.

See you guys there and Larry.. Be prepared for lots of questions and working out some possible deals on a few things.

Later,

Jon

I will take over, although I wanted to get the Macintosh computer that I donated to Diz running on my extra AOL account for him this weekend. Hopefully he will be up and running by tomorrow online at home.

Bumping this - above are the official plans for the meet on Friday .

I don't have good directions to the Garden of the Gods visitors center where we are to meet at 19:30 before dinner. Does anyone know the best way to tell people how to get there. I do it by feel and habit

Also, why is the Hungry Farmer called the "Texas 7" ??

Diz, are you back now since you have internet at home now?

Directions to Garden of Gods visitor centre from I-25.....

I-25, exit Garden Of Gods
Going West, continue on Garden of Gods until the end. Take a left onto 30th Street.
Keep going for about 1 mile. You will see the Garden of Gods visitor centre on your left.

BTW, The Hungry Farmer is called the 'Texas 7' because those Texan jail escapees were finally captured there....

See you guys there. Also, I found a 20% off coupon for the Hungry Farmer in my junkmail today! It's good for up to 8 people. Someone might want to check their junk mail for another one in case we have more than 8 people.
