Unhappy What's best, '99 and the maf, help me out...

Hey, guys, do any of you with a '99 have any advice on intakes. Peaty replied with a custom job, but was looking for a more simple solution. I looked at the prm intake and it looked like with a maf adapter you could rig it to work. I also saw the rallisport intake and wanted to know how well it worked. It didn't look like it was secured well and i heard the maf is very sensative. Also does anyone know the word on when cobb will have their version of the intake for '99 model? Also, what is better, leaving the stock air box or going with a cone filter setup? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Rob

I put up a post of a very nice MY99 intake that I'm trying to piece together myself right now. I'll let you know how it goes... and it will get road dynoed so I'll have some figures.

Do a search in the N/A drivetrain for "The ultimate MY99 intake"

A little over a year ago I looked at the PRM filters. At the time they didn't have one short enough to fit in the motor bay. The thing is I wanted to keep the torque box. I did source my mandrel bent pipe from them though. Maybe they could make the long "J" bend that we would need. When I talked to PRM they said that they could bend any size I wanted. Some details about contacting PRM in the text here:

I have a Ganzflow. Very easy to put on. Sound on acceleration, but not loud at low speeds. My son read it was dyno'ed to give 15 more hp. Nice set up. Love the way it works.
