Default Is it worth it to wax my car?

I'm debating to wax my car, but i'm not too sure because of all the scratches and chips on the body panels do u me taking rally driving courses. I had some mudflaps, but didn't really help. U could see rocks fly up and hit the side of the car when i was driving sideways
What do u guys think?? There are a lot of chips and scratches. Mostly near the rear wheel wells.

Chris

Default ?

That depends...

1) Do you want a waxed car w/ chips and scratches or...

2) Do you want an unwaxed car w/ chips and scratches? j/k

It's up to you dude, if you like rallying then a waxed car would be easier to get the dirt off.

It doesn't really matter to me.

At the very least, it might keep the damage from getting worse due to weather effects. Why not invest in some touch-up paint and 3M clear-bra while you're at it? Or if you don't care about all the rock-chips, you should at least make sure there isn't any exposed metal. Rust is bad.

I was thinking of the touch-up paint, but there are just too many chips. It's mostly on the bumper, so it's just exposed plastic...as for the quarter panels, i'll have to take a good look to see if there is any metal.

It's mostly a question of am i willing to spend the money and time. Since waxing won't get rid of or even cover up the scratches and chips i'm not seeing much of a benefit. But, like some of u guys said, it would protect the exposed areas for awhile, then i have to do it again.

That's it, new plan.....new paint job. Whose got the paint code for Steel Blue Mica?!?
haha.
