Default TEIN Flex for 05 STI??

I've been thinking of this for a few days.

I just checked on TEIN's site, and it shows that for the 02WRX up till the 04 STI, they each use the same suspension. But that they are currently developing suspension for the 05 STI.

My question is, what would cause them to redesign for the 05 but not the 04? Is it due to the new offset of the 05 wheels etc. Would it be possible to run the TEIN's for the 05 on an 02 WRX chassis, or will a slight change be needed? Im trying to take advantage of everything I can here.

If not then im just gonna get the TEIN Flex and use the STI top hats etc.

I just wanna make sure that I've got this all right. Thoughts? Anybody know for sure?

It about 1/4in thicker in the lower mounting point in the front so the 02-04 will not fit on a 05 STI (i've tried)
