Post clutch questions and help

So i have been out of town and i missed the meet and now i am back and the subie is having major clutch probs. Here is the deal the pedal totally started sticking about two weeks ago. I had the slace cyl replaced at Schamburg (thanks John). Yet the problem only started to get worse and today its really sticking bad. I know the 99 have clutch issues but have you guys experienced any, and what did you do to solve this. The car on its way to Schamburg as i type to have the clutch looked at once again. Any suggestions would be great.

Not that I am being helpful at all, but please post here about your experience(s) past and future with this problem at Subaru of Schaumburg... I'm adding them to the dealer review section with Donnie's experience and whoever else has been there, so keep us informed. Hope its something simple

Is it slipping at all? If it is not slipping then it is something in the fluid system.

well just got off the phone with SOA and with John at Schamburg. SOA recommended keeping the car for the entire weekend for them to look at it. John is telling me that the spings in the clutch could be stetched. I dont get that but ok. I guess until they get in there its kind of up in the air.

So far things that i know are these:
1. the clutch does slip occasionally
2. the pedal gets stuck to the floor ocaasinally
3. it squeaks it makes all kinds of noises
4. i have a new slave cyl.
5 they claim my fluid is up to par
6 i am getting some rental car...great

my trip to starved rock will probably be in a neon.anybody want to take bets as to what rental i get

i will keep you guys posted
oh and now garys car and donnies black one will have company in the lot.

John is very familiar with the squeeky clutch problem. Thanks to my bringing mine in for regreasing.

I think the socket bearing at the end of the clutch fork might be "etched" from dirt and other crud. They should be able to take care of that, but it is an all day operation (plus time to get parts).

Did the mechs at Subaru Schaumberg get a chance to grease the clutch fork?
