LOL! Yeah, we have to make sure sponsors are OK with decal placement and size before we get the vinyl applied.

Rick,

Unfortunately the car will not be back MD until the week of the 15th unless it gets a plane ride with me

Thanks,
Phil

Beastly car man. I thought I recognized your car. I actually got to see underneath (actually more like drool at) your car when it was on a lift over at Hillmuth last month. Andrew was fixing stuff on my car too.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The wing and hood are Kaminari carbon fiber versions, and the rest of the body kit is Charge Speed.

As for power we were really after delivery first and huge power second. With that said I'll tell you how much power it's making right before the event. Just as a teaser though we are running 20 psi which it can hit in first gear, in 3rd it will hit 20 psi at 4000 rpm, and in 4th it will hit 20 psi at 3600 rpm. Iíve been playing with the AVCS cam timing via the Element Hydra to get these results.

We specified this turbo to make huge power at lower boost levels so the delivery was more manageable while road racing vs. a high boost setup. Power comes in really smooth but just keep making more power the higher you rev it. We won't go too crazy with the boost because it just won't be useable at this particular track so we'll adjust the power level based on Gary Sheehan's recommendation.

Thanks,
Phil

is this an actual Time Attack car or just another showboat? I am hoping it's going to be on the tracks...but if so, it's going to need a lot more work.

It's the real deal. The Subaru we put together last year finished in 2nd place so we know a thing or two about setting up a time attack car.

The track record on some of these race engines is wishy washy so we decided to stick with a stock engine. It worked for us last year and will handle the inteded power level just fine....as long as I don't make a mistake
