Default soft brake pedal

When I bought my secondhand WRX I noticed that the brake was very soft. Then I changed brake fluid, brake rotor and pads. Now there is a slight improvement. The brake is soft only first time when applied, after that it is fine. But if I dont apply it for a few moments it becomes soft again. Are there any suggestions how to keep it firm all the time?

sounds like there is air in the lines. You might want to try bleeding the lines again.

if you did it yourself and couldnt get the fluid out take it to a shop and have them do it....
or rebleed it youself and when you are bleeding get a ballping hammer and Barely(i mean slightly) tap your Master Cylinder, and Calipers to get all the bubbles that might be stuck to the inseides to brake away...
also are you Manual bleeding it, or vacume bleeding it?

I did manual bleeding. But I doubt there is any air because it is like that from the first day.maybe there is a problem with the brake lines. They could be too soft?
