Default Honda Question: Smoking while idleing?

Sorry for the non-scooby question but I'm not about to join a honda forum for one question
My ex called me today and said her accord was smoking while she was at stoplights. She said it smelled like oil but when she opened the hood she didn't see any leaks, nor has she noticed any in the past. She couldn't remember what color the smoke was either. Also, she said she hasn't changed her oil in awhile (hence why i'm not with her anymoer ) and didn't know if that could be a factor. Any ideas?

ummm, i don't see honda's that randomly smoke, even the poorly treated ones, usually they only start smoking if they have a leak somewhere, what year is it?? the 98-02 4 cylinders have a flex pipe directly under the oil filter(great location thanks to our engineers) and if you don't cover the flex pipe when you change the oil the dirty oil spills all over it and sits in the stainless mesh forever

Is she blond?

Tell her to put her cigarette out.

DId she mean that it hasn't been changed, or that it was just changed, and has been a while since the last oil change?

If it was just changed, I wouldn't worry about it past checking the oil level for a couple of days.

If not, I have not idea.

Actually she is blonde and smokes way to many cigarettes haha. And no, it hasn't been changed since early summer. When she called me today she's like well I had the oil changed over the summer and I'm like you have to do it every 3K miles, especially with an older engine like yours. She's like "oh". haha, classic stuff. I'm having her call the honda tech place tomorrow to get it in. I don't even want to look at it. Plus she's been bitchy lately and I'm not in the mood
