Default will the cobb access port work on an automatic wrx?

will the cobb access port work on an automatic wrx?
I have been reading about it and have Not seen anything saying
works on manual and auto
or anything saying
does not work on automatics
So I assume it works on both. I wanted to double check here before I buy one.
Thanks
