i'm just curious but what did you do with the vacuum lines that came off the stock airbox?

Question

just curious, doesn't the filter get real dirty real fast by putting it directly behing the scoop like that?? hopefully you never come to canada in winter, cause i think it would ice up too......??

i think his car is sedona red because they have the purple engine bay.

Ahhh, that would explain it. The engine bay just looked to be a different color, maybe purple. Yikes

Default Vacuum lines and such

Look close to the left of the cone, you will see
an oval shape. It's a filter I found in some old emissions stuff- looks like a small lawn mower filter. I used a "TEE" and some vacuum line and mounted the filter to one of the air box mounts.
I also removed the blanking plate under the scoop.
Plus spaced the front vents. The K&N does not seem to be getting dirty~500 miles. Will watch it and clean & recharge as ness.
I will put it back to normal for winter driving.
Sure sounds mean. Fuel econ is up a couple tenths
and 60~70 cruisin is easier.
