The Rockville Friday Night Meets thread

Ok, giving it a wack at creating an official Rockville meet thread.

The following is for n00bs:
The original location of all Rockville meets was Barnes and Noble. See directions to B+N here. There are still gatherings here on Friday nights and Saturday nights for all car enthusiasts, and is more or less like an unofficial car show. As of late it's become less fun for some of us to go to (speaking for myself, I've been going there every friday for a bit over 2 years). Here is the link to the B+N thread.

We changed locations last week and it turned out well. We will now hold "an alternative to B+N" meet in Congressional Plaza, just up a few lights from B+N. From Rockville Pike, pass Barnes and Noble heading north and turn left into Congressional Plaza. Look for That's Amore, Tower Records, The Container Store. After turning left, turn right at the stop sign to go towards Tower Records and turn immediately right into the back corner of the parking lot. There is lots of open space for us to park together and use as a staging point for the night's activities.

If you can't see anyone, it would be a good bet to park and walk down to Starbuck's, as that's where alot of us might already be. After coffee and some chatting, we can head out to eat somewhere. There is a Baja Fresh, Lebanese Taverna, and Noodles & Company right next to Starbucks. Armand's Pizza is accross the Plaza and of course we can still drive to any of the surrounding restaurants.

Yeah!!! We should meet Saturdays as well, cause there is ppl that work late on Fridays

But I'm not too sure about the new place, it sounds kinda

besides, not everybody drinks cofee and a lot of us enjoy the vesatility and stupidity that goes on at B&N

i will try and smash out there morrow night for an hour or two in the leg wagon.

Would sign up for sat night buy my gf is flying in from ca and well you guys are cool and all but.. nevermind... maybe next weekend if i dont go on some massivly stupid road trip to some corner of the country i have never been to.

I specifically inserted links to the B+N thread at the top so that if anyone interested in it can meet up there. You don't have to go to the new location if you don't want to.
