Default What is going on????

I had smoke come through the center interior air vent today. It happened under WOT. Has anyone had this happen before?

That sounds bad... are you sure it was smoke, not steam? Though that could be bad also.

Have you recently mod'ed anything on the car?

About 15 yrs ago I installed my first stereo.. Fried it.. Filled the car up with smoke instantly.. Smoke came out from the dash, air vents, etc.. Thought my car was burning to the ground.. Oops!

Sometimes on a really humid day, the A/C will compress the water vapor out of the air. I've seen 'steam' come out of vents in certain situations around here. It's usually just momentary, under hard acceleration. And no matter how hard you try, you can't duplicate again. I'm guessing if you didn't get any kind of smell, it was probably just water vapors.
